Maintenance
We pledge to provide a comprehensive maintenance checkup on your HVAC equipment. We want to leave our customers with a feeling of value and confidence that we did everything we could to help prevent equipment breakdowns and provide equipment maximum efficiency. Items checked and performed on our visit.
- Verify proper thermostat operation
- Check blower motor / wheel and air flow settings
- Verify proper wire size, voltage and amperage draw at air handler
- Check air handler cleanliness
- Check for proper air filtration
- Install customer supplied air filter (If needed)
- Apply Self-rinse coil cleaner on indoor coil (If needed)
- Apply Bio treatment on any visible microbial growth in the air handler
- Check all electrical connections
- Check temperature output at the air handler
- Verify proper heat strip operation
- Verify proper gas furnace operation
- Clean drain pan and drain line and reprime
- Clean condensate pump / if applicable
- Clean exterior cabinet
- Remove all debris from condensing unit
- Clean condensing coil and exterior housing
- Verify proper voltage and wiring to condenser
- Check starting relay contact points
- Check compressor starting / run capacitors
- Verify proper compressor operation
- Visual check for refrigerant leaks
- Check for excessive vibration / noise levels
- Visual check distribution tubes for wear
- Verify proper refrigerant level using manufacturer specifications
- Verify proper revering valve operation / heat pumps
- Offer sound solutions to any issues noted, if needed
